The power deflection underwent a serious nerfing, making the caster choose between melee and ranged attacks unless they get a raise on the Activation roll.
So I’m opting to make Greater Deflection grant the raise effect automatically to a success on Activation, and then a -4 to incoming melee and ranged attacks with a raise.
UPDATE: The updated Savage Rifts Mega Power Reference was just published this week.
There’s a major copy/paste error in the Mega Power Modifiers for Deflection in the publication as of today, with the modifiers listed for what’s clearly a different power, probably the new power curse.
The Mega Power Modifier appears untouched from the last version of the book.
