This power was changed significantly from being a kind of cosmic playback machine to being a plot-driving clue-generator.

As such, the existing Mega Power Modifiers for it go right out the window.

So, dipping into the original Palladium source material, I find that the power Object Read has an option to attempt to key in on the present state and whereabouts of the last owner of the object, so I think that would make an appropriate Mega Power Modifier at +2 Power Points.

UPDATE: The updated Savage Rifts Mega Power Reference was just published this week.

There are no standard Power Modifiers for the object reading at all anymore, and the new Mega Power Modifiers give back the functionality of the original version of the power, with Deep Reading, which makes it behave like it used to, and Psychometric Projection, which lets everyone see what the caster sees within “a space the size of a small room.”

In my GM’s opinion, the second Mega Power Modifier would really be weird to use without also invoking the first.
